What do these two stories have in common? It is the cultural genocide and suicide of Western European Civilization and the genocide and suicide of a 2000 year old Roman Catholic identity.

It is beginning to look like we have reached the end of discussions, reasoned argumentation . . . and the ability to hold fast to that which was handed down to us at the expense of countless martyrs of the faith and of liberty and freedom. I really don’t see where we go from here. My gut says that we are at the brink of a fundamental change from a civilization that believed in civility and the rule of law to a total breakdown to anarchy and open warfare between those who exterminate and expunge the history and traditions of both our societies and the our churches. What is left for us to do but join in to a hot war since the cold war seems lost. I pray not, but I can’t come up with any other outcome to the corruption and planned destruction of our entire social and religious principles. Their work is nearly done and the question is will we die ought with a whimper or fight to the death to defend what little is left of our patrimony. Anger, sadness, disbelief are only a few words the express my concern over where this world is headed.

I am inclined to agree. In the days of armed invasions we could fight armed battles and not wring our hands afterwards – Charles Martel would have had not problems with scrupulosity. Now, we have been ruined by our own weakness, our own charity. No Pope will call a crusade either, neither Francis nor Benedict XVI – unless you get an underground Pope when BXVI dies. Truly, the Antichrist cannot be far off. I think, perhaps, old Derek Prince was right – the spirit of humanism is what will kill us all. Greece comes back to haunt us and the Roman Curia is a Neronian sink.

Here’s hoping we all make the right choices. Frequently, it seems to me, those verses from Revelation 13 come to mind: if anyone is for the sword, by the sword he shall die; if anyone is for slavery; into slavery he shall go… Perhaps all we can hope for is to defend our families. It feels to me like the antichrist spirit is working overtime these days. I can almost see the invasion of Israel and the other portended acts.

I too am am anticipating a climax to this unacceptable state of affairs. If not, then we die quietly but Christ will save His Church and the Church will get find final justice.
In the meantime I can only suggest that we get rid of our MasterCards and divest ourselves of any stock that company from our portfolios. Outside of that; just keep your eyes open and know that wars and rumors of wars are rampant; the real one cannot be that far off since we seem incapable of ending this by human reason and by pretending that nothing has really changed.

Indeed – I fear much of this is as people like Thomas Jefferson predicted, power in the hands of a few people who care not one whit for the rest of us trying to build a civil society. The principalities, powers, and human rulers rage against the LORD and His Anointed, but He has installed Him on Zion, His holy hill. All I fear I can do these days is preserve my sanity. I am not John the Baptist, but I feel at times like a voice crying in the wilderness. It still scandalises me that so many churches have not declared themselves. They take this peacemaker business too far at times.

Even more disturbing is how many churches have taken the side of the evil corruption and genocide taking place. I see that Bishop Lori of Baltimore is handing out ID’s to illegals and there are complicit churches of all denominations that are solidly in the tent of the anarchy that is being stoked around us.
I doubt that any of us will emerge unscathed. There will be casualties and martyrs emerging but only know that it is better to die a free fan who holds to Christ and His promises that it is to die a slave to evil tyrannical leaders of unholy regimes. The cancer spreads and nothing short of radical surgery will be able to save the patients.

I fear it is so – there will be persecution outside of the Middle East, I expect. Christ said that the Great Tribulation would be unlike any time in history so that if it were not cut short, no one would survive. I think even if the UK and USA are not ruled by the Antichrist, there will be Christian deaths at the hands of opponents within our borders – mobs, lone attackers, and assassinations.

It reminds me of when the communists murdered the priests in Mexico and Graham Greene wrote “The Power and the Glory”: the Catholics were in misery but persevering, and the Protestants seemed totally oblivious to it all, living in some green pasture somewhere. Now in truth, God visits His people in their afflictions, as Canon Andrew White testifies about Christians in Iraq – but there is also the business of daily living.

Sadly, we come blind to injustice once that is a constant paradigm of our lives. Daily living will continue to mask what is going on until we are no longer able to carry on with daily living. Then it is far too late to do anything that is meaningful for ourselves. It will require supernatural intervention I fear.

Yes, there is no means now of putting everyone back in a state of co-operation. What I find galling is the use of adapted 1950s fashions now by hipsters et al without adopting the actual values of people who lived through the 50s. These veneers of respectability and trendiness that people are wearing are blinding them to the serious metaphysical issues.

It is galling indeed. In fact it is mocking the life that we once enjoyed and the community spirit that permeated the 50’s. If nothing else Wester Europe and their allies had just defeated the greatest evil that civilized man had ever faced and there was an air of optimism about the future as well as a camaraderie of people who banded together in that victory. And now they mock them as fools and backward thinking prudes and right wing racists etc. It is, as you say, galling to say the least.

Don’t miss the sodomitical underpinnings of these genocides as well; the churches that have become homo-friendly and the European secular embrace of such things including their attacks on gender itself. Yes, my wife and I are particularly fond of the rainbow and the promise that God made to us when He fashioned it. But then Sodom wasn’t destroyed by flood but by fire and the same may be in store again.
Funny that the hierarchy of Hitler was rather a sodomitical bunch as well. And we are constantly being compared to Fascists. Do they have any idea how closely they resemble what they call others?

The more they seek state interference in our affairs, the more they reveal tyrannical tendencies. We, by contrast, do not want state involvement one way or another, just a quiet life with some voluntary consensus in the public sphere. I don’t care what people do behind closed doors.

Well things will get so bad that even the elect might be swayed. So affirming yourself is what we are all left to I’m afraid because we cannot trust the voice of every man who is being held up as our intellectual and spiritual better. So trust that which God has instilled in your heart.

Of some comfort is the promise that the Church will judge angels – so there will be a great reversal. The evil spirits that plagued humanity will find themselves before humanity’s tribunal.

I aways found that passage fascinating as it seemed to me that God had already judged and condemned Satan and his cohorts to Hell. But I suppose God wants us to have our say as well. What other God is so generous to a mere creature? It is why I always say that it is not unlike our God to allow Saints to intervene in our affairs and to participate in our needs etc. A generous God give all His family members some responsibility and a share in His Universal Rule. For He knows that they will do His Will and that they bring Glory to Himself by doing so.

Well, I now interpret all that material through the divine council worldview, so I have stripped it of some of the medieval and late antique accretions, along with Dante and Milton. The elevated humans have become part of the Council and have replaced the Sons of God and other spirits who revolted. Enoch and the NT imply that the imprisoned spirits are awaiting a final judgment, so the analogy for us is not imprisonment after a trial, but the imprisonment leading up to the verdict.

I have found these past few years that some things have made a lot more sense using this contextual analysis, but it doesn’t change the basic principle of tradition, it just tweaks at the edges. I haven’t really seen any major doctrines be adversely affected, which is an encouraging sign. None of this historical stuff has led me to jettison the core of orthodoxy and it has actually helped me understand non-biblical authors, like Herodotus, a little better.

I simply look at it in the same way I read the following:
2 Timothy 2:12 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.
If we reign with Him then we might think, due to the commentary by St. Paul in 1 Corinthians that we will not only have a part to play in the judgement of the world but also in the judgement of the angels. More than that I cannot say.

You guys sit and lament that religions are supporting sodomy. That’s what you get for thinking religions are godly,or what ever nice things you think about them. Whats it going to take to get you to seek the risen Lord and open the door to Him. You hold out hope your religion can be saved if only you grit your teeth and do something about it, beside what you are doing now….coming home from work….watching TV….eat something, spray some air freshener in the bathroom and go to bed.
Religions are going to blossom into what they really are….a bunch of nothing…..and theres nothing you can do about it, except keep believing in them and giving them your money.
