Nothing is so foreign to the spirit of ecumenism as a false irenicism, in which the purity of Catholic doctrine suffers loss and its genuine and certain meaning is clouded. __ Decree on Ecumenism (Unitatis Redintegratio), Chapter II, Section 11
We seem to be living in an age of ‘false irenicism’ where we have witnessed the false peace between Catholicism and rival religions, ideologies like Communism, Marxism, Freemasonry and movements for a loosening of all moral constraints which have been catered to and even embraced by many Church leaders. Has nobody noticed that ‘Catholic doctrine suffers loss and its genuine and certain meaning is clouded’? Is this the Spirit of Vatican II or the spirit of the world and of this corrupt age that we now try to live in?
Communism is praised by our Pope and the dictators of Communist regimes are embraced while traditional Catholics are maligned and removed from Vatican posts. Interfaith Communion is taking place without any retribution and the Pope has condoned Communion for those who are still living in a state of mortal sin. Homosexuals are courted like a political party might court a constituency while open borders are demanded at the expense of human life and livelihoods without any concern for existing law and its enforcement; laws that have been on the books for a very long time. Why now? Why so much political maneuvering from a Church that was founded to save souls not to open up national borders and preach man-made global warming? Is this the way to the peace of the Gospels?
The Pope and other global leaders now pay lip service to Islam and the God of the Muslims and declare that Mohammadism is a religion of peace. Really? Is this the same Church that has been fighting this false religion for over 1300 years? The same peoples that martyred many a good Catholic in the past? What has changed? Is it that they changed or that we have changed? And if we have changed what does that make of us but hypocrites who sacrificed our lives in the past to protect the traditions and teachings of the faith from corruption or outright abandonment and defeat?
False irenicism is all about us and we are drowning in it. Never before has Catholic doctrine suffered such loss. And does anyone care a wit about how clouded and obscure they have made of our genuine and certain meanings concerning the teachings of the Faith? They are indifferent because they have never learned the faith or they have utterly lost the faith in order that they might pursue politics and social activism. It is far more important for a Catholic in good standing to be politically correct than to be morally correct. It is better to pronounce that good is evil and evil is good than to confront the world on their journey to a temporal and worldly utopia of their own making. The age of globalism has arrived; the New World Order prevails.
Christ made it clear that the Gates of Hell would not prevail in the end but He never said that the Global elite might not prevail for a time. The Church and the world itself is under siege by the most malignant dictator of all which is satan himself; the worldly prince of this world, who already mortally wounded, fights like there may be no tomorrow. Perhaps we might recognize this last gasp of a dying tyrant for what it is and finish the job rather than attempt to appease him. For this serpent was a liar from the start and is the father of all lies and it appears at least that many are falling under his sway.
It is also worth noting the words written by Sr. Lucia, a seer at Fatima: ‘The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about Marriage and the Family.’ Don’t be afraid, she added, because whoever works for the sanctity of Marriage and the Family will always be fought against and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. Then she concluded: ‘nevertheless, Our Lady has already crushed his head’.
Can anyone doubt that marriage and family are not in the crosshairs. If you do doubt this, one need only look to the preparations for the Family Youth Synod which are coming up: https://www.crisismagazine.com/2018/st-gallen-mafias-lgbt-youth-synod
The masks are coming off all around us and many are simply baffled that nobody sees what is plainly before their eyes: there is no peace between good and evil and what is being taught has developed from an ecumenism which has embraced ‘false irenicism’.

Good brother scoop, your praise of the CC has to be tempered with reality. Just today, the archbishop of austrailia was convicted of hiding pedophiles. Why would he protect them? Hes one of them. You talk about CC doctrine being watered down or what ever. Your satanic CC doctrine says Christs sacrifice wasn’t good enough. That men must pay for certain sins themselves, in some fire of some purgatory. May god damn the CC. Jesus was beaten to death for our sins and the CC says it wasn’t good enough. Enjoy your false religion and all the woes that come with it.

Good brother scoop, its not your fault the CC doesn’t honor Jesus death on the cross….but it is your fault for believing man can pay for his sins by mans suffering. That’s like sacrificing a lame dog as a scapegoat for our sins. It is my honest hope that all my friends in here come to salvation.Jesus stands at your door andknock. Why not let him in. Let go of theses religions. Once you let him in he will guide you in all things. No costumed holymen required.

Luke 15;7…… say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Acts 19;4…..Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Good brother scoop, let me guess…..you got your passages from a bible, the same bible that removed the 2nd commandment. I want to thank you for taking timeto research all that for me.By the way, none of those passages have the word penance in them, at least not in the KJV. You catholic bible pushes a works religion. Maybe you need a new Bible that was translated by a Jerome who was sought out from both the Hebrew Rabbis and the Greek translator of his days. Jerome still understood how these words were used at the time of the writing. But you will kling to your translation whether some 1100 years later they decided that they wanted to come up with a newer translation that was more in keeping with their hope that nothing need be done and that mans freewill is of not a gift by God to be used by men. Besides even your KJV connotes the idea at the very least of repentance: and that shows sorrow. Is sorrow sometimes shown by acts? Of course, remember sack and ashes and how God spared Ninevah. But you are incorrigible and there is little chance of changing the mind of one who thinks that his personal revelations take precedent over public revelation to the apostles and the Church.

Good brother scoop, even a cursory reading of the bible would tell one that god doesn’t need our works. Salvation is a gift, not of works. The catholic meaning of penance is to do something, things that im not privy to all or most of them. I know about visiting shrines and graven images and working soup kitchens and that sort, and the favorite method employed by your Lord God the Pope Johnpaul II, flogging himself closer to god. The KJV makes much more sense when compared to the passages you put up. Im glad you put them up. It gives me more fuel for when I go to lambast the CC. It also helps me understand the works mentality of the catholic mind. It is no wonder that the CC tells its flock that they cannot understand scripture, which discourages them from opening a bible. What really scares the clergy is that a catholic might have in his or her possession a KJV. Upon reading this accurate bible, the faithful would notice that the CC is at complete odds with the word of god, which by the way, happens regularly. Satan does not want humans to hear the word of god. Its his job. Like I illustrated above, just in care an errant catholic does snoop thru the catholic bible, they wont see the prohibition against making and serving graven images, which is the mainstay of the CC. The Lord warned us of this evil one….seeking to change times and laws. This takes dead aim at the CC for changing the Sabbath from Saturday to sun worshippers day, and then removing the 2nd commandment. , at least from their own pitiful bib le. My bible is good and the devil cant touch it.

Words matter in our current climate Scoop. When I discuss things with people, I make them define what they mean. For instance, I am in that new group discussion on Fr. Jacques Phillipe ‘s book Interior Freedom, one that should be read by more Catholics, and one person said, “God is Love.” I interjected, “What do you mean by love? Because, the example of God’s Love is sacrificial—I pointed to the crucifix—it is the opposite of a distortion of Exodus 3 “I AM.” The current modern theme “Love is Love” is nonsensical tautology because true love must be an outward expression of service. A love that is rendered on nothing more than pleasure and not on a full openness of oneself—which only man and woman could obtain being open to new life.
Most of what I said that night was met with silence. I was speaking authentic Catholic doctrine in a Catholic convent meeting room and it was shocking people.

Good for you Phillip. You are exactly right.
I am outraged at the moment with the bishops and priests who are clamoring to the border with a ‘holier than thou’ message about the separation of children from immigrants. These very same bishops who organized this have been receiving 100’s of millions of dollars for the care of immigrants which shows a monetary bent to their ‘new found’ love of children. The same children that are separated from their parents by abusive priests and then paid off or fought in court by the powers in the Church. They are hypocrites and have lost the high moral ground that they like to imagine themselves in.
When they came up with the ‘norms’ on how to protect children in Dallas back in 2002, they mentioned nary a word about homosexuality in the priesthood and developed programs like VIRTUS to protect children from the parent/teachers of kids etc. It was an outrage. And the documents were signed by notorious homosexual bishops like Weakland, Ryan, Hubbard and McCarrick.
Instead of meeting on the border they need to start ratting out these pedophiles, pederasts and homosexuals within their own ranks. Love of children? Give me a break. We don’t love children by abusing them.
And once again it is the boys who suffer. Now more than ever because of children without a father figure they need mentors and priests to show them how to be a man who would sacrifice for the love of God and for their family. Boys have lost their means to emulating what it means to be a man and the Church is largely to blame.

Oh yes, if they make an accusation these days it is for show and they usually pick a man whom has been identified as a traditionalist. Its only when the actual heretics and apostates are literally caught with their pants down that they even admit or do anything about it. Both Cd. Dolan and Abp. Wuerl were aware of the victims that were already paid out for abuses connected to their buddy ‘uncle Teddy’. But let a traditional priest who was exonerated from all charges go back to work: never. It is a sham just like the persecution of Pell. Let those who hear, hear and those who see, see.

I’m having dinner with my wife, a deacon and his wife and my parish priest this Friday. I am going to push not only changes to the Mass and messages from the ambo but also establishing a class for post-Confirmation boys. Along the lines of the protestant movement “Promise Keepers” perhaps we can enlighten our boys on what real manhood consists and how being indifferent or by ignoring the teachings which produce principles to live by they are simply remaining children. Men must stand for something and be willing to die for a Good. And when they start confronting the Church and the priests who are not acting like men then they will act or speak out . . . without fear. Men keep their word and their vows and it is their bond. Real men will not sit idly by and simply swallow whatever sappy, lovey dovey crap that they are bombarded with everyday. We must demand and expect our priests to be real men and to exhibit it in their actions and their words and we will follow them to the end of the world when they do.

You’re not the only one, believe me. I feel the same way. This really needs to permeate to the upper echelons of the Church and then they must act and not simply talk and write more tomes for publication to enhance their image. They need to start cleaning out the Augean stables and people like Fr. Martin should be removed from the Church on a rail covered with tar and feathers. They are an embarrassment and he is far from alone. It seems that perhaps more than half of our leaders are complicit in their silence if not actually part of the problem and scandal that they participate in.
There is a rosary across the country on Oct. 7th that needs to be pushed in every parish. Maybe we can get God to hear our prayers and get the intercession of Mary to change the hears and minds that have gone so far astray. Here is the information:

Your constant blaspheming of Mary (the mother of God) chosen by Him before time itself as the singular woman whose flesh would contain God Himself incarnated. You insult God much more than you insult me or the Church Christ founded.
